The faculty in the Technology and Social Behavior program demonstrate strong support for interdisciplinarity. Their research spans a variety of methodological approaches and they enjoy thinking about problems from multiple points of view.

RESEARCH SPOTLIGHT

The Children's Digital Media Center
Graduate and undergraduate students working with Professor Barbara O'Keefe are exploring the nature of children's experiences with media, interaction in and with media, and the outcomes of specific types of media experiences such as children's television and interactive games. This work is being conducted a part of her cross-institutional research project, the Children's Digital Media Center, that was funded by the National Science Foundation to promote new work on the developmental impact of new communications media.
